On June 21, 2008, the City of Helotes will host its second annual Helotes Volunteer Day, a day dedicated to the beautification of our wonderful community! Many improvement projects have been identified throughout the City, and we encourage residents and business owners with all skill sets to participate. Those volunteers participating in last year's Volunteer Day are encouraged to wear their shirts from last year. Coffee and tacos will be served at City Hall starting at 7:00 a.m., followed by a few hours of volunteering at specified sites throughout the community. While all materials and equipment will be provided, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own equipment. Lunch, games, and socializing will begin at 12:30 p.m. back at City Hall.
