The Helotes Festival Association will host the Helotes Cornyval from April 30 to May 3, 2015. Live music, fun and games, food, arts and crafts and other entertainment will be provided for your enjoyment throughout the four days of the festival.
The HFA Rodeo Committee will celebrate its 27th year anniversary with three PRCA rodeo performances, Thursday through Saturday. The HFA PRCA Rodeo was honored in 2012 by the WPRA and named "Small Rodeo of the Year" and has received the "Justin Boots Best Footing Award".
Alamo Attractions will present a full carnival midway, including thrilling rides, a super ferris wheel, games and amusements. Twenty dollar armbands, good for hours of unlimited rides, will be available Thursday and Sunday. Special prices will be available on Friday and Saturday. Approximately 75 food and craft booths will fill the grounds with sights, sounds, and smells that will wet your appetite and fill your tummy.
On Saturday, May 2, 2015, the City will host the Helotes Cornyval Parade. The Parade will commence at 9:30 a.m. from the intersection of Leslie and Bandera Roads, near the Bill Miller Barbecue Restaurant. The Parade will travel North on the Southbound Lanes of S.H. 16 and travel through Old Town Helotes. The Parade will terminate at the intersection of Old Bandera Road and Antonio Drive.
