This page consists of current and upcoming bid notices. If you are a consultant, service provider, contractor, vendor, or supplier, this is a convenient place for you to find out about current bidding opportunities by selecting the bid notice of your interest.

Bid notices are not mailed through the U.S. Postal Service. Sealed bid notices, when available, are advertised in the San Antonio Express-News and published on this web page. A printed bid packet may also be picked up at Helotes City Hall, 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, TX 78023.

Procurement Types

ITB/CSB means Invitation to Bid/Competitive Sealed Bid – This method is used for requesting definite commodities/services, can not be negotiated, and award is based on the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.

RFQ means Request for Quote – This method is an informal method of gathering quotes; and Request for Qualifications – This method is used to obtain statements of the qualifications of potential development teams or individuals (i.e. consultants).

RFP means Request for Proposal – This method is used for requesting indefinite commodities/services, is negotiable, and award is based on evaluation criteria for scoring.

CSP means Competitive Sealed Proposal – This method is used for requesting indefinite commodities/services, is negotiable, and award is based on evaluation criteria for scoring mainly used for construction.

CMAR means Construction Manager at Risk – This method is used for completing construction/infrastructure projects.
