HPD In The Community

The men and women of the Helotes Police Department enjoy visiting with citizens and the public. Some of the ongoing programs of Team Helotes include:

• Attending local schools to teach children about public safety issues and the importance of physical fitness
• Participation in National Night Out events
• No Shave November when officers will raise funds for special nonprofits while promoting cancer awareness
• Participation in area events with other law enforcement personnel or first responders (i.e., skills-based events, charity fitness events, and more)
