The 7th Annual Engineering BBQ Cook-Off countdown is on! You’re invited to attend the bbq event and help organizations from UTSA’s College of Engineering raise funds. This year, the event is being held at the Helotes Festival Grounds. Tickets can be purchased on the event website at www.engrbbqcookoff.com. About the Engineering BBQ Cook-Off Event Engineering students are challenged throughout their college careers to network through various student chapter organizations. The Engineering BBQ Cook-Off fundraiser presents a great opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to socialize with professional engineers and future employers in a fun and casual setting. This student-hosted fundraising event will provide valuable networking and promotional opportunities for both student organizations and competing firms. The event will also help raise funds for various projects and materials. The following student chapter organizations are collabarating to host this fundraiser event: Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE), Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Engineers Without Borders (EWB), and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASME).
