Helotes Police Department’s 3rd Annual Charity Fundraiser

October 31, 2017.

It is that time of year again! Beginning Monday, October 30, 2017, Helotes police officers may grow either a goatee or a full beard until “shave day,” which is December 31.

Our goal is to generate curiosity throughout the community, which we hope will garner donations from citizens and businesses. This year, all donations will be awarded to Casa Helotes Senior Citizens Center (Casa Helotes). The donation presentation will take place during the City Council Meeting on December 14, 2017 at City Hall. Donations will be accepted through the end of December. Any donations not included in the presentation will be forwarded at the end of the month.

Those wishing to donate may do so at the Helotes Police Department’s front desk, or any officer may also accept donations. Donation receipts are available on request.

We ask that donations, other than cash, be made payable to Casa Helotes Senior Citizens Center.

Casa Helotes is a senior citizen activity center serving northwest San Antonio, the City of Helotes, and surrounding communities. Casa Helotes is classified as a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization with three purposes:

c. Serve congregate noon meals, Monday through Friday, to individuals over the age of 60 in partnership with the Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG).
